Membership in the NWOSSCA is open to all current and former scholastic (high school) head and assistant coaches in Northwest Ohio. The Northwest Ohio District typically covers the following counties: Allen, Auglaize, Defiance, Fulton, Hancock, Hardin, Henry, Lucas, Mercer, Ottawa, Paulding, Putnam, Sandusky, Seneca, Van Wert, Williams, Wood, and Wyandot.
Benefits of membership:
- Teams are eligible to be ranked in the District and State polls
- Individual players are eligible to be recognized as All-District, All-State, All-Region and All-American
- Individuals and teams are eligible for State, District and National academic awards
- Coaches are eligible to receive District, State and National coaching awards
- Senior players are eligible to participate in the NWOSSCA All-Star game
- Senior players are eligible for the NWOSSCA Scholar-Athlete Scholarship
- Coaches receive an additional million dollar liability insurance policy
- Coaches receive discounts through the United Soccer Coaches Association
- Coaches are provided with access to the NWOSSCA/ United Soccer Coaches library of coaching clinics
